Church Housing Trust is committed to changing the lives of homeless people and raises funds to support the work of over 70 projects throughout England, including hostels and women’s refuges. Specialist help is given to young people; the ex Services; vulnerable young parents and children; people with drug, alcohol and mental health problems, and ex offenders. Sarum St Michael Educational Charity
The Sarum St Michael Educational Charity is a trust formed from the assets of an Anglican college of education that closed in Salisbury in 1979.
Our aim is to advance the work in education originally done by the college. We make grants to individuals ineligible for student loans to help them pursue their further education.
We offer bursaries to intended teachers of Religious Education. We help schools pay for resources for teaching RE, and parishes pay for books and equipment for Sunday schools, youth clubs and the like.
Grants are made within a wide geographical area consisting of the Diocese of Salisbury and all of the adjacent dioceses.
