Walking/cycling
The shortest route from the centre of Oxford (e.g. Bus Station) and from the Rail Station (approximately two miles) is via Willow Walk (). However this path is not lit at night. From Botley Road turn left down Ferry Hinksey Road (at the traffic lights past St Frideswide’s Church). At the small roundabout at the end of Ferry Hinksey Road, turn right along the foot/cycle path, Willow Walk. This will bring you to North Hinksey Lane. Turn left then follow the road round to the right to reach Diocesan Church House.
If you wish to avoid Willow Walk, follow Botley Road to North Hinksey Lane (turn left just before McDonald’s) and follow this to Diocesan Church House.
If you are coming from the west, there is an underpass under the A34 from Westminster Way opposite Raleigh Park Road.

Alight at Raleigh Park Road, from where it is a five minute walk to Diocesan Church House. Use theunderpassto cross the A34, then turn right along the A34. North Hinksey Lane is the first turn on the left.
There are also occasional buses on service 44 from Oxford to Boars Hill and Abingdon which stop directly outside Church House. (However the return journey shares the U1 stop on Westminster Way.)
There are also regular buses along the Botley Road – e.g. route 4 from Iffley Road and the city centre towards Cumnor and Abingdon, 100 from Oxford to Witney, 66 from Oxford to Faringdon and Swindon.
