An opportunity for the Retired Clergy to welcome Bishop John

On 12th June retired clergy and those with permission to officiate in the diocese were at Christ Church Cathedral to welcome Bishop John.

The New Testament reading, 1 Corinthians 2: 1-10, was read by the Revd Michael Farthing

The Old Testament reading, Isaiah 35, was read by Mother Anne Verena.

Bishop John's sermon was on the theme:  Ministry in the Third Age.
